North-West Fire Protection District (NWFPD), founded in 1882 and covering 289 square miles in Park County (Colorado) including the areas of Alma, Alma Junction, Bald Hill, Beaver Ridge, Buffalo Peaks, Cooney Lake, Diamond Lake, Fairplay, Leavick, Moose Mine, Mosquito Range, Mount Bross, Oliver Twist Lake, Park City, Red Hill, Warm Springs, Wheeler Lake & Windy Ridge. North-West Fire Protection District uses South Park Ambulance District for all emergency incidents including medical and transports.
