South Park Ambulance District, founded in 1992 covers 1,500 square miles in Park County including Alma, Alma Junction, Antero Junction, Antero Reservoir, Bald Hill, Baker Lake, Beaver Ridge, Boreas Mountain, Boreas Pass, Buffalo, Buffalo Peaks, Campfire, Como, Como Lake, Cooney Lake, Diamond Lake, Eleven Mile Reservoir, Elkhorn, Fairplay, Georgia Pass, Hartsel, Hoosier Pass, Indian Mountain, Jefferson, Jefferson Creek, Jefferson Lake, Kenosha Pass, Kite Lake, Leavick, Little Baldy Mountain, Lost Park, Michigan Creek, Moose Mine, Mosquito Range, Mount Bross, Oliver Twist Lake, Park City, Park Range, Pike Isabel Village, Pike National Forest, Ranch of the Rockies, Red Hill Pass, South Park Ranches, Stage Stop, Spinney Mountain Reservoir, Tarryall Creek, Tarryall Reservoir, Warm Springs, Weston Pass, Wheeler Lake, Wilkerson Pass & Windy Ridge.
South Park Ambulance District co-responds to all emergency incidents for medical and transport with these fire districts: North-West Fire Protection District, Hartsel Fire Protection District & Jefferson-Como Fire Protection District.
