Longmont Fire Protection District

Originally called the Longmont Rural Area Fire Protection District in 1947, then name changed in 1961 to the Longmont Rural Fire Protection District, and then the Longmont Fire Protection District (Niwot Volunteer Fire Department) in 1962. Named changed to the Mountain View Fire Rescue in 1991.
