Delta County Ambulance District (DCAD), covering 330 square miles in Delta County including the areas of Cedaredge, Delta, Eckert, Grand Mesa & Orchard City.

Delta County Ambulance District was formed in 1999, combined two Emergency Medical Services (EMS) operated by the Town of Cedaredge and the Delta County Fire District # 1.  The area is comprised of the Delta Volunteer Fire Department (Delta County Fire Protection District # 1), and Cedaredge Volunteer Fire Department (Delta County Fire Protection District # 3).
