West Metro Boat Fire

On November 19th, 2025 at 09:58 Jeffcom 911 dispatched West Metro Fire Rescue to a reported residential structure fire in the 7500 block of W. Bails Ave. in Lakewood. Engine 8 arrived on scene and found a boat burning in the back yard of the residence. Crews extinguished the fire very quickly and neutralized the overhead electrical wires and the rest of the response was cancelled. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
