Montrose Vehicle Fire

On October 3rd, 2020 around 18:00 Montrose Fire Protection District was dispatched for a motor vehicle fire in the 700 Block of Cedar Creek Ave. Engine 111 and Medic 111 arrived to a working vehicle fire in the backyard of the address that was spreading to ground cover. Engine 111 established command in the offensive strategy. Medic 111 pulled a 1 3/4 crosslay from Engine 111 for fire attack. The fire was limited to the vehicle and ground cover in the immediate area. The cause of the fire was unknown and no injuries were reported.
