Las Vegas Fire & Rescue Department (LVFRD), founded in 1907, with 21 stations covering 150 square miles in Clark County (Nevada) including the areas of Alondra, Amber Hills, Angel Park Ranch, Artesian Heights, Arthur McCants, Aventura, Bonanza Village, Bracken, Breamoor Heights, Canyon Ridge, Canyon Terrace, Centennial Hills, Cimarron Springs, Cimarron Village, Copperhead Hills, Crestwood, Deer Springs, Diamond Head, Elkhorn, Fairway Pointe, Far Hills, Huntridge, Lakeside Village, Las Vegas Stripe, Lone Mountain Village, Lorenzi, Kensington, Painted Desert, Palm Valley, Peachwood, Pinto Palomino, Queensridge, Rainbow Ridge, Rancho Bel Air, Rancho Circle, Rancho Oakey, Rancho Springs, Rosewood, Sartini Plaza, Showboat, Skypointe, Smoke Ranch, Solana Del Mar, Sterling Springs, Summerlin, Summer Springs, Sun City, Sundown, Torrey Pines, Tuscany Hills, Upland, Valley Crest, Washington Square & Whispering Timbers. 

Las Vegas Fire & Rescue was originally the Las Vegas Volunteer Fire Department (LVFD) in 1907, name changed to Las Vegas Fire Department in 1942 and in 1999 changed to the Las Vegas Fire & Rescue.

The Fire Chief is Fernando Gray and was the former Fire Chief of the Aurora Fire Rescue (Colorado).

Las Vegas Fire & Rescue is dispatched by the Las Vegas Combined Communications Center (Fire & Medical 9-1-1).
