2nd Alarm Apartment Fire

West Metro Fire Rescue responded to a confirmed structure fire with multiple 911 calls at S. Holman Way & S. Flora Way on April 29th, 2018. Engine 6 reported to dispatch that large smoke in the air from the station. Engine 6 arrived on scene to a 4-story high rise with multiple levels on fire, life safety mode and an exterior fire attack. Engine 5 arrived and established a water supply to Engine 6 and Medic 5 assisted with search with Tower 2. Engine 2 connected to the standpipe and extinguished the fire on the 4th floor, and conducted a primary search of the 4th floor. A second alarm was requested, and Engine 3 assigned as RIT and Medic 3 as medical group. Crews got the fire under control at 17:50 with a long overhaul. No injuries were reported and the fire is under investigation.
