Station 3 Autism Awareness Open House

West Metro Fire Rescue hosted Autism Awareness Open House at Station 3 on April 21st, 2018. The community came out to this low-stress open house that featured no lights or sirens for a comfortable, and low sensory experience. Kids of all ages were able to meet firefighters and paramedics, see and tour the fire engine and medic, try on fire bunker gear, and tour the fire station. The idea for the open house was by Lieutenant Paramedic Jasen McConaghy.
