Wheat Ridge Structure Fire

At 15:50 on July 7th, 2018 West Metro Fire Rescue responded to a possible structure fire in the 3900 block of Nelson St. in Wheat Ridge. Engine 17 arrived to a working fire and started fire attack, District 1 arrived in the offensive strategy and Medic 16 was assigned as Rehab. Crews were able to get a quick knock on the fire and started overhaul. District 1 advised property conservation mode, and the fire was put under control at 16:20. No injuries were reported and the fire is under investigation. Wheat Ridge Police Department closed down Nelson St.
