Windsor Trash Fire

On May 4th, 2025 at approximately 18:12 Windsor Severance Fire Rescue, Loveland Fire Rescue Authority and Poudre Fire Authority were dispatched to a possible structure fire near I-25 and American Oaks St. Engine 403 arrived on scene and provided an updated location and advised it was a trash fire near a structure. Firefighters began an attack on the fire preventing further spread to the abandoned structure. Incoming units for the structure assignment were downgraded and then cancelled. Crews remained on scene for several hours conducting an extensive mop up within a group of trees.
