Fire Science Evolutions

On April 16th, 2025 Adams 12 School Washington Square Fire Science students spent their second-day at North Metro Fire Rescue District Fire Academy going through four evolutions in the morning then live fires in the afternoon. Morning evolutions were SCBA maze, single-family residential search and rescue, advancing a charge hose line to a stairway and down the hallway and positive pressure ventilation. In the afternoon each team of four to six student worked on a live fire on the second floor of a buildings. Two teams entered each time, one for fire extinguishment and one for search and rescue.
