Adams County Operation Freebird

The Adams County Sheriff’s Office held their annual Operation Freebird at Mountain States Toyota on November 22nd, 2025. The Department provided the community with access to free food from ACSO and Food Bank of the Rockies. The event was presented on behalf of the Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with Waste Management, Mountain States Toyota and Food Bank of the Rockies. 2,000 turkeys were given away during the event. Community members were also able to receive dental screening, flu shots, mental health resources, veteran services and housing assistance. Adams County Fire Rescue, Adams County Office of Emergency Management, Denver Health and Rampart Search and Rescue were among the participants in this year’s event.
