Adams County House Fire

On September 6th, 2024 at 19:35 Adams County Fire Rescue, Westminster Fire Department & Federal Heights Fire Department responded to a possible structure fire in the 6000 block of Tennyson St. in Arvada. Engine 12 arrived to a working fire from a one-story home and pulled a attack line to the Alpha-Bravo corner for fire control and primary search with Medic 12. Engine 11 secured the water supply and Battalion 11 arrived and assumed command with a major incident tone. Engine 1 pulled a 2nd line in while Truck 2 set-up for ventilation, Medic 1 assisted Engine 12 with fire attack and Medic 41 with rehab. Crews found fire in the attic space before getting the fire put under control at 20:26 and crews started overhaul. The cause of the fire is under investigation and no injuries were reported.
