Adams County Shed Fire

On August 8th, 2025 at 11:03 Adams County Fire Rescue and Westminster Fire Department responding to a possible structure fire in the 3000 block of W. 65th Ave. at Federal Blvd. Medic 12 arrived on scene and reported a fully engulfed shed near the back of a home and Engine 11 pulled a 1 3/4 line for fire control and search and established their own water supply. Crews found a power pole on fire and Xcel was requested to the scene. There was no one inside the shed, and crews extinguished the fire before it reached the nearby home. No injuries were reported and Lithium battery scooter charger is associated with the cause of the fire. Additional information provided by Adams County Fire Rescue
