South Metro Structure Fire

On March 28th, 2025 at 06:45 South Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a single-family residential fire in the 19300 block of E. Fair Drive in unincorporated Arapahoe County. When crews first arrived on scene smoke was pouring out of a window on the east side of the home. Firefighters immediately began fire attack, successfully containing the majority of the fire to the area it started in. There was minor extension into the garage, but crews were able to gain control of it quickly. They also utilized chainsaws and Tower 35’s apparatus to check other areas of the house for extension. Searches of the house confirmed that everyone evacuated safely, with no injuries to report. Investigators are working to determine the cause.
