On October 18th, 2025 at approximately 21:40 South Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on E. Smoky Hill Rd. just east of S. Telluride St. Engine 22 arrived on scene and found multiple vehicles with heavy damage. Battalion Chief 5 advised Medic 23 that one patient had been ejected. At least three patients were transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment. The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.
