South Metro Chimney Fire

At 23:35 on January 8th, 2025 South Metro Emergency Communications dispatched South Metro Fire Rescue to a reported residential structure fire in the 8200 block of S. Fillmore Way in Arapahoe County. Upon arrival the fire was confirmed and was was determined to be the chimney. The fire was put out within an hour of arrival and crews then continued with ventilation. No injures were reported.
