Aurora Warehouse Fire

On April 20th, 2025 at 11:14 Aurora911 dispatched Aurora Fire Rescue to a commercial structure fire at 13801 E. 33rd Place with multiple callers. Battalion 5 arrived to a large warehouse structure with smoke showing from roof and the Alpha side and the fire sprinkler system activated inside. Firefighters discovered a fire involving a natural gas line. The natural gas and electrical utilities were shut off and additional firefighters operated on the roof where they extinguished the fire. The incident was placed under control within 30 minutes and no injuries occurred. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Additional information provided by Aurora Fire Rescue
