Boulder County Flagstaff Road Outbuilding Fire
Mountain View Outbuilding Fire
Just after 16:00 on October 29th, 2025 Mountain View Fire Rescue was dispatched to a fire in an outbuilding off the 5000 block of Flagstaff Rd. Engine 210 arrived on scene to a working fire and started fire attack containing the flames to the single structure and protecting the surrounding wildland. The outbuilding served multiple roles, hay storage and it was also home to several cats and rabbits. Boulder Fire Rescue crews saved one of the rabbits, one other has been accounted for and two cats have been accounted for. The caretaker of the property acted quickly and opened the gates, and his hope is that all of the other animals were able to escape. The cause is under investigation and no injuries in the fire.
