Mountain View Wildland Fire

Just before 14:25 on March 27th, 2025 Mountain View Fire Rescue responded along with Longmont Fire Department and Boulder County Fire Management to a reported wildland fire in the 11400 block of Vermillion Rd. north of Longmont. Crews arrived and found a residential controlled burn that had escaped containment and spread to a neighbor’s field. Crews worked quickly and were able to stop the growth of the fire before any structures were damaged. No injures in this incident. Additional information provided by Mountain View Fire Rescue
