Commercial Structure Fire

On January 2nd, 2025 at 10:12 South Metro Fire Dispatch dispatched South Metro Fire Rescue to a possible commercial structure fire at 8955 E. Nichols Ave. in Centennial. Upon arrival, a working fire was determined to be coming from an HVAC unit that was located on the roof of a one-story commercial building. Construction work was being done at the time, but the cause of ignition was unknown and under investigation. The Arapahoe Sheriff Department secured the scene.
