South Adams Balcony Fire

On July 9th, 2025 around 06:00 South Adams County Fire Department and Adams County Fire Rescue with Platte Valley Ambulance was dispatched to a apartment balcony on fire at 7031 Colorado Blvd. in Commerce City. Dispatched advised that the fire was spreading and Battalion 21 requested a 2nd alarm. Engine 23 arrived to a working fire from a 3rd floor balcony and pulled a line for fire attack. Firefighters were able to extinguished a small fire quickly on the balcony and the 2nd alarm was cancelled. No injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation.
