South Adams Vehicle vs Train

At approximately 22:50 on August 24th, 2025 South Adams County Fire Department was dispatched to a train incident involving a vehicle at E. 88th Ave. at Hwy. 2 in Irondale. Battalion 21 arrived on the scene to find one vehicle with moderate damage and a BNSF train that had stopped at the railroad crossing. All occupants of the vehicle were able to escape without injury before coming into contact with the train. Additional information provided by South Adams County Fire Department
