South Adams Structure Fire

On December 9th, 2025 around 14:15 South Adams County Fire Department was dispatched to a smoke investigation inside at the Victory Village, 6261 Monaco St. in Commerce City. Adcom 911 advised that smoke in the wall inside the residence and the call was upgraded to a structure fire response. Truck 23 arrived to a single-story mobile home with an exterior fire which was put under control quickly. Before crews arrived, bystanders used an fire extinguisher which also helped knock down the fire. The fire was determined to be caused by a cigarette which extended to the front exterior of the residence. Additional information provided by South Adams County Fire Department
