Denver 2nd Alarm Fire

Around 03:30 on March 4th, 2025 Denver Fire Department responded to a reported multi-family structure fire in the 9000 block of E. Oxford Drive. Crews arrived to heavy fire conditions on the Charlie side of a row of townhomes extending to several units and crews quickly got water on the fire. The incident was promptly upgraded to a 2nd alarm with multiple units involved. Crews operated for over two hours hitting hotspots and doing overhaul. The American Red Cross was requested to assist 17 displaced residents. No injuries reported during this incident and investigators determined that a space heater was the cause of the fire.
