On October 17th, 2025 around 05:20 Denver Fire Department responded to a possible apartment fire in the 3600 block of S. Verbena St. in Hampden Village. Crews arrived to a multi-family apartment building with smoke showing from the 3rd floor and started fire attack. The fire was found fire in a vacant apartment on the 3rd floor and and extended into the attic space. No injuries were reported and the fire is under investigation.
