On February 24th, 2025 Denver Fire Department was dispatched to the 200 block of University Blvd for reports of an individual that fell down a storm drain. The Technical Rescue Team responded with the trailer to utilized the Vortex System to hoist the individual from the drain safely. The patient was handed over to paramedics to be transported to an area hospital.
