Around 15:15 on November 11th, 2025 Denver Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the 3500 block of W. Walsh Place in Westwood. Engine 20 arrived to a fully involved structure with heavy fire throughout the building and into the attic. Firefighters had to back out and go defensive for a short time due to safety concerns of collapse due to heavy fire damage. Crews worked a very stubborn fire with multiple roofs on the original structure, 2 cars, 1 camper, a loaded trailer, and a motorcycle were all on fire in the parking lot in addition to the building. The fire was put under control within an hour and crews started an extensive overhaul. American Red Cross was requested to the scene. No injuries were reported and the fire cause is under investigation. Additional information provided by Denver Fire Department
