DIA Brush Fire

Around 13:00 on March 10th, 2025 Denver International Airport Fire (ARFF) with Brighton Fire Rescue District, Bennett-Watkins Fire Rescue and Sable-Altura Fire Rescue responded to the outskirts of Denver International Airport for a large brush fire. Crews arrived to fire inside the DIA property and on the outside areas at E. 104th Ave. & Hayesmount Rd. Firefighters started fire attack to contain the fire. Denver utilized multiple Type 5 brush trucks and one of the airport crash truck. The fire was brought to 100% containment after an hour into the incident with approximately 10 to 15 acres. The cause is under investigation.
