Elizabeth Outbuilding Fire

On August 9th, 2025 at 15:53 Elizabeth Fire Rescue with auto-aid from Franktown Fire Protection District responded to a reported outbuilding fire on Wagon Wheels Trail at Rawhide Circle. With units enroute, multiple callers reported a detached garage/outbuilding with smoke and flames showing. Engine 271 arrived on scene to find a working fire with smoke and fire showing. Engine 271 pulled an 1 3/4 for fire attack and established “Rawhide Command”. Medic 271 arrived on scene assisting with search and fire attack. Engine 181 and Tender 181 established a water supply with tender relays put into play. Engine 273 arrived on scene and conducted vertical vent. Crews remained in the offensive strategy and remained on scene for a short time and later to rehab and overhaul. No injuries were reported and the fire is under investigation.
