Evergreen Health & Safety Day

Evergreen Fire Rescue held their annual Health and Safety Day at Station 2, 1802 Bergen Parkway in Evergreen on September 20th, 2025. A free pancake breakfast was presented, along with plenty of interactive displays and demonstrations. Free fire engine bucket rides and the “Touch-a-Truck” event were also available, along with opportunities to learn life-saving skills like CPR and “Stop the Bleed” techniques. The fire department, law enforcement officers and other vendors with booths were on hand with information. Foothills Fire Protection District, Jeffcom 911, Jefferson County Open Space, Colorado Parks and Wildlife, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Jefferson County Animal Control, Jefferson County Horse Evacuation Assistance Team (Jeffco Heat), CommonSpirit, Evergreen Park & Recreation District, Evergreen Metropolitan District (EMD), CORE Electric, Xcel Energy and others participated in the event.
