On March 20th, 2025 at 11:35 West Metro Fire Rescue and South Metro Fire Rescue were dispatched to a single-vehicle accident on eastbound C-470 at the overpass of S. Wadsworth Blvd. Crews arrived on scene to a pickup truck, which left the highway and rested on the center-divide barrier. The accompanying trailer had become detached and stopped on the overpass against the left barrier. Jefferson County Sheriff and Colorado State Patrol secured the scene. Unknown if injuries were reported.
