Golden Elevator Rescue

On December 28th, 2025 at 14:34 Golden Fire Department and Stadium Medical responded to the Jefferson County Government Center, 200 Jefferson County Parkway for an elevator rescue at the jail complex. Due to the nature of security, Truck 24 crew had to rappel from the top floor down to the stuck elevator car on the 6th level. Two people were extricated from the elevator at 16:04 and rescued without any injuries. Additional information provided by Golden Fire Department
