Stadium Medical

Stadium Medical was founded in 2000, and started providing emergency medical coverage for events and venues including provider for the Denver Broncos, Colorado Avalanche, Denver Nuggets, Colorado Rapids, University of Colorado, University of Denver, and the Colorado School of Mines. Also, provide emergency medical standby coverage for high school football, motocross, triathlons and races, rugby, rodeo, and many other sporting, public and private events. Provide 911 overflow coverage for the City of Denver, Westminster, and Thornton.

Stadium Medical was founded in 2000, and the first contracts that year were for the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, Colorado Rapids, National Western Sports Complex, and Arapahoe Park. In 2001 started coverage for Denver Broncos football games. In 2005 entered an agreement with the Pepsi Center (now Ball Arena). In 2009 Stadium Medical moved into it’s first and current headquarters, and LimoCare was established, with staff posted in an ambulance and noticed the community’s need for wheelchair transportation with the first inter-care transfer in 2010. In 2014 ran its first 911 response in a mutual-aid agreement with the City of Denver.

In November of 2020 Stadium Medical started an EMS ambulance agreement with Golden Fire Department, Fairmount Fire Protection District, Golden Gate Fire Protection District, and Pleasant View Fire Department, staffing a medic unit at Fairmount, Golden, and Pleasant View Fire stations.
