South Metro Electric Vehicle Fire

At 22:06 on September 13th, 2025 South Metro Fire Rescue and West Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to for a electric vehicle on fire on W. Bowles Ave. at S. Wadsworth Blvd. Engine 12 arrived on scene to a single-vehicle smoking but no flames visible in the west bound lanes of W. Bowles Ave. at the east side of the S. Wadsworth Blvd. intersection. Battalion 2 arrived and requested Hazmat 17 to respond to the scene. 

The fire was controlled quickly and there were no known injuries. The incident is under investigation.
