Front Range Vehicle Fire

At approximately 15:44 on January 3rd, 2025 Weld County Regional Communications Center (WCRCC) dispatched Front Range Fire Rescue to a residential structure fire in the 600 block of Saint Andrews Ave. in Johnstown with auto-aid from Loveland Fire Rescue Authority and Greeley Fire Department. Upon arrival crews found a vehicle in the driveway that had caught fire and that the occupant of the home and neighbors had put the fire out with fire extinguishers and a garden hose. The occupant had been working on the vehicle in the driveway when gasoline ignited under the vehicle. Fire crews checked for hot spots and extension into the home. Crews also used an electric PPV fan to remove smoke from the home. Loveland Fire Rescue Authority and Greeley Fire Department were cancelled enroute. No injuries were reported.
