On March 29th, 2025 at 14:45 West Metro Fire Rescue responded to a MVA on W. Colfax Ave. near Ingalls St. Jeffcom 911 advised Engine 1 that 911 caller reporting 5 patients involved and additional medics were requested to the scene. Engine 1 arrived to a three-vehicle MVA with heavy damage and one party trapped. One person was extricated from the vehicle and Tower 2 was picked-up before arriving on scene. Four people were transported to local hospitals with serious injuries, but stable condition. Lakewood Police Department closed W. Colfax Ave at Ingalls St. for the investigation and W.
