Larkspur Open House

The Larkspur Fire Protection District held their annual open house at Station 161 on August 23rd, 2025. Plenty of staff was on hand to provide information and answer questions. The community came out out to meet up with the firefighters, tour the fire apparatus with live demos and “Smokey Bear” along with two helicopters including the Douglas County Office of Emergency Management Helicopter 5TA (N205TA) and Flight for Life. Douglas County Search and Rescue, Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Castle Rock Fire & Rescue, Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control, HCA HealthONE and others also participated in the event.
