West Metro Residential Fire

On January 6th, 2025 at 12:30 West Metro Fire Rescue and South Metro Fire Rescue were dispatched to a possible structure fire in the 9000 block W. Polk Drive in Littleton. Engine 12 arrived to two-story residential structure with nothing showing and started the investigation. Crews found light smoke in the basement with all occupants evacuated. The home owner stated that he was working in his basement office and smelled smoke. After further investigating, the smoke was not increasing and heat signatures were not present and the rest of the response was cancelled. Additional information provided by West Metro Fire Rescue
