Logan County Grass Fire

In the afternoon of March 13th, 2025, the Sterling Emergency Communications Center dispatched the Fleming Fire Protection District to the 7000 block of County Road 71 for a grass fire. Units arrived on scene and found a 4-acre fire in light fuels quickly moving towards a tree line and nearby farm. Crews quickly knocked down the head of the fire, then extensively overhauled the affected area. Additional information provided by the Sterling Fire Department.
