Lake Minnequa Fire

At approximately 16:30 on April 10th, 2025 the Pueblo Fire Department responded to the area near Lake Minnequa in Pueblo for a possible brush fire. On scene, crews were met with heavy fire activity and began fire attack. As winds picked up in the evening, nearby neighborhoods were warned about increased smoke in the area. At 20:00 the fire was declared fully contained, and crews remained on scene through the night searching for hotspots. Additional information provided by the Pueblo Fire Department.
