Westminster Structure Fire
On November 8th, 2025 around 15:00 Westminster Fire Department and North Metro Fire Rescue District responded to a structure fire in the 9400 block of W. 89th Circle in Westminster at the Stanley Lake Condos. Westminster Communications Center advised that smoke from the roof from 911 caller. Engine 3 arrived to nothing showing from a two-story structure and started the investigation. Crews found fire in the 2nd story unit in the kitchen and pulled a line in for fire attack and the primary search. Battalion 1 arrived and assumed command on the Alpha side in the offensive strategy. Truck 5 arrived and assisted with the water supply to Engine 3. Engine 2 arrived and pulled a 2nd line off Engine 3 to the Delta side 2nd floor for fire control with Medic 2. Command requested an additional medic to the scene. The fire was quickly extinguished with no extension into the attic space and crews started the overhaul. Firefighters safely rescued two pets, one dog and one cat and worked to resuscitate the two animals. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire has been determined to be accidental.
