On July 20th, 2025 at approximately 12:20 the Northeast Teller County Fire Protection District was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with injuries on Hwy. 24 at the intersection at Hwy. 67. Engine 71 arrived on scene an found a tow vehicle crash with moderate damage. Crews were on scene about thirty minutes evaluating the occupants and neutralizing hazards. One person was transported by ambulance to a local hospital to be evaluated.
