Arvada Vegetation Fire

On July 13th, 2026 at 21:48 Arvada Fire Protection District and West Metro Fire Rescue responded to a vegetation fire in the 7700 block of W. 61st Ave. Engine 51 arrived to find a small grass fire and the fire was quickly extinguished and crews worked on hot sports for about 45 minutes. The fire burned around a 20 x 20 area. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
