Denver Restaurant Fire

On July 15th, 2026 around 15:30 Denver Fire Department responded to a fire at the Sherpa Base Camp Restaurant, 1320 E. 17th Ave. in the City Park West neighborhood. Crews arrived to find fire behind the building that extended inside the restaurant. The fire was quickly put under control and firefighters worked on overhaul will hot spots. No injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation but was reported that it may have started from an electrical issue outside on the patio area.
