Denver House Fire

Around 02:39 on June 19th, 2026 Denver Fire Department was dispatched to structure fire in the 3600 block of Mariposa St. in the Highland neighborhood. Engine 12 and Truck 12 arrived to a fully involved working fire from a two-story single-family that was under construction. Chief 6 arrived and assumed command and requested for a defensive strategy due to the intense fire conditions. Crews quickly went to work protecting the neighboring homes and a vehicle parked nearby that were threatened by the spreading flames. No injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation.
