Denver Roof Fire

On July 16th. 2026 Denver Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire in the 2000 block of  S. Downing St. in South Denver. Crews arrived to smoke from the roof and firefighters quickly to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to nearby homes. The fire was brought under control and crews remained on scene for overhaul. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Information provided by Denver Fire Department
