Falcon Vegetation Fire
On April 6th, 2026 around 13:45 Falcon Fire Protection District was dispatched to reported outside fire in the area of Hwy. 24 and Woodman Rd. Upon arrival, crews found fire activity just east of the intersection, burning in the ditch along Highway 24 and moving from west to northwest. The fire was contained to approximately 0.66 acres and compromised the footbridge on the Rock Island Trail. The cause of the fire is undetermined, but it does not appear to be intentional.
