Limon Structure Fire

At 11:08 on February 4th, 2026 Limon Area Fire Protection District was dispatched to a reported structure fire eight miles south of Limon on Hwy. 71. Engine 2211 arrived to a 50 x 50 foot outbuilding heavily engulf in smoke. Crews found heavy fire visible on the Alpha-Bravo corner. After 45 minutes the fire was brought under control. The fire was contained to the singular building No injuries were reported. Additional information provided by Limon Area Fire Protection District
